How do you feel about John McCain's selection of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his vice presidential running mate?

Songwriter Hank Cochran is recovering at a Nashville hospital following surgery to remove cancerous tumors from his pancreas and lymph node.

The 72-year-old Cochran says the diagnosis was made very early and doctors expect him to make a full recovery.

He is expected to remain hospitalized for several weeks.

Cochran, a native of Isola, Mississippi, has written several country classics including Patsy Cline's "I Fall to Pieces," Eddy Arnold's "Make the World Go Away," and George Strait's "Ocean Front Property" and "The Chair."
